Binggrae children’s art contest, our biggest pride and
the oldest and most prestigious art contest in Korea,
is held annually on May, which is the family month, for our
children, who are our hope and future,as well as parents
and teachers.

Since its inauguration in 1986, it has grown into a giant
competition, currently taking place in Seoul and Busan,
with sixty thousand people participating annually.

'Bright world, bright heart’ as its main theme, the contest is consisted of three groups, preschool,
elementary school lower class, and elementary school upper class. In the main contest,
performances by entertainers and recreation children and parents can participate in together
will be presented. Also, works of winners will be displayed in an exhibition.

Children drawing with bright eyes and cute hands, parents who are watching their children draw
with a happy smile, and an image of a happy family in a warm spring day. These are the 'bright
world, bright heart’ that we strive for.

Occasionally we come across parents who draw instead of their children. But our jurors can
catch them with a perfect accuracy. They can do it because they see in children’s perspective.
