Binggrae took its first stride to a food company back in 1969 when the Korean was about to bud as
an industrial country. Starting as a dairy company offering fresh milk and ice cream, Binggrae soon
had introduced fresh milk-blended ice cream and drinks including Together and Banana Flavoured
Milk which have since positioned as no.1 brand in each category and still loved by local consumers.

By signing franchise agreement with a global yogurt company Sodima SAS, Binggrae has initiated
creamy spoonable type yogurt business and introduced Yoplait in technically lagging Korean dairy
market then prevailed by diluted drinking yogurt.

Singed Yoplait franchise agreement with Sodima SAS
Opened Donong II plant
Listed in the Korean stock market
Started yogurt business
Introduced Banana Flavoured Milk, bottled in a patent plastic jar
Introduced Together, Korean first fresh milk blended ice cream
Opened Donong I plant
Signed a technical cooperation agreement with Foremost-McKesson
Changed the company name to Daeil Dairy Co. Ltd.
Daeil Co. Ltd. established
The past years from early 80's and mid 90's saw Binggrae building a foothold for general food
company through diversification and expansion in its business scope. Binggrae expanded its
presence in the local food industry across ramen and confectionary and well received by local
consumers as a quality F&B company.

Signed a franchise agreement with a Japanese confectionary company, Sun Merry
Expanded Nonsan plant
Bought a dairy product line of a local food company and its Nonsan plant, Jinro
Officially sponsored a national industrial exhibition, Daejeon Expo
Officially sponsored the1988 Seoul Summer Olympic Games
Opened R&D
Opened Kawngju plant in Seoul vicinity to manufacture yogurt, snack and ramen
Entered noodle business by introducing Urigip Ramen fortified with Vitamin E
Signed a technical cooperation agreement on noodle (or Ramen) with Nissin Food,
a Japanese food company
Launched Yoplait
Changed the company name to Binggrae
Innovation centered on consumer satisfaction was a major source of growth momentum.
Customer-responsive marketing strengths coupled with R&D conspired to position Binggrae as
a potential leader of Korean food industry. In parallel, our awareness of the fundamental importance
of consumer satisfaction motivated us to go well beyond compliance with regulatory requirements in
a large number of areas.

Yoplait and Together both recognized as the no. 1 brands by the Korea

Banana Flavoured Milk recognized as a product of the 20th century in Korea
Launched Spicy Soya Ramen fried in pure soybean oil, replacing argument palm
oil
Diversified business lines by launching frozen kyoja and noodles

Implemented ISO 9001 standard certified by the Korea Productivity Centre
Launched Doctor Capsule, introducing a revolutionary type of drinking yogurt
